Big changes are coming to the Ethereum network with the approval of the EIP-3074 upgrade in the next Ethereum hardfork, dubbed ‘Pectra’ or ‘Petra’. Scheduled tentatively for Q4 2024/Q1 2025, this upgrade promises to address several UX and security issues, particularly concerning EOAs (externally owned accounts).
