In case you missed it, here are the top news highlights over the weekend.
The summary:
Cyberkongz, the team and project that played an instrumental role in shaping the NFT landscape in 2021, announced the imminent launch of their pre-Runes collection: Prometheans.
The supply will be 21,000, and will be distributed for free - 85% to Ordinals communities and the other 15% to CyberKongz holders.
NFTs on Ethereum continue to be red across the board, with some exceptions. Notably, the Bored Apes are nearing a 10E floor.
Leading the ‘pre-Runes’ category action, sentiment on Rune Pups continue to be strong as the Ordinals collection hits a 0.185 BTC floor, and the BRC-20 $PUPS hits $93.75. This follows last week’s momentum when Ansem first got introduced to this ecosystem.
GCR, a prominent trader who has made a big name for himself in the last crypto cycle, comes out of the woodworks to tweet about the recent dip - saying “this is a good opportunity”, and “do not capitulate”, raising morale. The tweet has garnered 7.9 million views at the time of writing.
Iran attacks Israel, sparking scares of WWIII and causing crypto markets to crash. The majors take a dip (5-10%) but not as hard as Altcoins which saw a 20%+ drawdown.
At the time of writing, Nodemonkes have re-flipped Puppets, sitting at 0.484 BTC and 0.45 BTC respectively.
That's all folks - that should catch you up. Now let's start the week off strong 🫡
